Want to know more about The Steam Studio? Here you go...

Our Mission:
The STEAM Studio is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to promote a sense of constant curiosity through project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. We promote skills in creative problem solving, logical thinking, mental flexibility, and collaboration.

About Us:
We offer completely unique camps in science, tech, engineering, coding, 3d printing, circuitry, robotics, and more. The STEAM Studio is a family business created in 2016 by Sarah Ezolt as a way to offer her three children, as well as others in the local area, engaging and educational STEAM classes and camps. Sarah has a bachelors degree from Baldwin Wallace University and a masters degree from the University of Massachusetts. She has been teaching and coaching Odyssey of the Mind for 12+ years. Our 2025 co-teachers are Nicolai Ezolt and Jillian Uzelac.

Nicolai is a junior at The University of Pittsburgh in the honors college. He is studying Applied Mathematics and Education. Jillian will graduate from Pine-Richland High School in 2025 and plans to major in Secondary English Education while also studying theatre education and ASL. Nicolai and Jillian were part of the Steam Studio OM Team, coached by Sarah Ezolt, which won first place in the international Odyssey of the Mind competition in 2024. All our teachers trained in first aid and CPR. If your child has any special needs, anxiety issues, allergies, or any other concerns, please speak with Sarah. We are happy to encourage, support, and accomodate every student as much as possible.

Camp Details:
Building Location: 407 Northgate Drive, Warrendale PA 15086
Class Size: We intentionally keep camps small in order to give every student attention and instruction. Our max camp size is 16 students.
Food Policy: We have a short (10 minute) snack break once during each day of camp. You may bring your own snacks and drinks or purchase a variety of drinks/snacks at camp for $1-$2 each. In order to support students with allergies, we may ask that families not pack certain foods during certain camp weeks. You will be notified of this ahead of time.

The Steam Studio supports science, equality, education, and being kind to every human and the earth. The grounds surrounding our building are a certified National Wildlife Federation habitat.
